Trevor Frankfort is a wedding and event planner extraordinaire, a lover of love, a television personality, and the head honcho behind Trevents: Wedding & Event Planning.
After working in corporate event planning, project management, marketing, and sales, Trevor realized something was missing. So in 2015, he took a leap of faith and launched his own event planning company. The result? A decade of unforgettable celebrations, all infused with creativity, heart, and meticulous attention to detail.
Known for thinking outside the box and staying cool under pressure, Trevor brings a sense of calm to even the most chaotic days—thanks in part to his love of meditation and yoga. His clients praise his organization, professionalism, and steady, positive energy. His goal? To keep you smiling through every step of the planning process.
He’s also a movie buff (yes, he still collects DVDs and Blu-rays), and his all-time favourite is Clue—the one with the three different endings. Have you seen it? So good. When he's not planning events or watching movies, he’s in the kitchen whipping up a mean minestrone soup. And fun fact: he has an ever-growing collection of vests, debuting a new one every time he’s on TV.
TREVVIE’S ANGELS
Lead Assistant: Tanya
Trevents wouldn’t be Trevents without Tanya. She has been working with Trevor since the very beginning and has been in the industry for 14 years. She’s so good that she was trusted to co-ordinate Trevor’s wedding. She loves listening to speeches at weddings, the longer the better. Ok, that’s not true, nobody likes long wedding speeches, but she does love all the different cultural and religious traditions. She finds it so satisfying to execute a wedding exactly how the couple has envisioned it, all while throwing in some fun to the mix. She is a master seamstress so can help with any wardrobe malfunctions that might occur. She loves rolling her eyes when Trevor makes a dad joke.
Her fave movie is Almost Famous and loves to make pulled pork especially when she gets the sauce just right. She also loves to dance and attends music festivals around the world and is an avid ball hockey player.
Assistant: Jenny
Jenny joined Trevents in 2023. She is a skilled planner who is also super creative and understands the concept of working as a team. She loves learning who couples are, what they like and even how they met. One of her favourite things to do on at a wedding is to check in on the couple to see how they are feeling and making sure they have a bite to eat and something to drink.
Her favourite movie is Mr. and Mrs. Smith and loves to make soup noodles because they are quick and easy, comforting and versatile and can add almost anything from the fridge to them to enhance the flavours. She loves to travel, read, dine in new restaurants and sip drinks at cool cocktail bars in the city!
